Thomas J. Cogley
Tom Cogley is admitted to practice in all South Dakota state courts, the United States District Court for the District of South Dakota, and the United States Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. His practice primarily focuses on Criminal Law and Personal Injury.
He also has experience with all types of Civil Litigation, Family Law, Corporate Law, and Estate Planning.
Tom was raised in Mitchell, SD and graduated from the University of South Dakota School of Law in 2010. After graduating, Tom served as law clerk for one year for the Fifth Judicial Circuit, Hon. Jack Von Wald, Presiding Judge. He then practiced with Ronayne & Cogley, P.C. from 2011 until 2019 when he decided to open his own office. He has successfully represented clients in both civil and criminal trials. He has also helped numerous individuals injured in accidents obtain favorable results. He and his wife Abby and their children enjoy the community of Aberdeen and are proud to call it home.
